SPLIT, Dec 4 (Hina) - The Bishop of the Mostar Diocese, Msgr. Ratko
Peric, stated yesterday that 200 Roman-Catholic churches and 600
mosques had been so far destroyed in Bosnia-Herzegovina during the
war in that country. Msgr. Peric revealed the data at the end of
the three-day symposium, held in Split, on the issue of "War and
Religious Denomination". He added that 150 Roman-Catholic parishes
out of the 264 in B-H could not be visited or accessed.
