ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - "The fact is that Bosnian Croats also obstruct
the delivery of humanitarian aid. It is surprising and totally
unacceptable," said Swedish Foreign Minister Margarethu af Ugglas on
arrival at Zagreb Airport on Thursday evening.
Earlier today, Mrs Ugglas met in Sarajevo with Bosnian President Alija
Izetbegovic, Prime Minister Haris Silajdzic, representatives of
humanitarian organizations and the UNPROFOR commander in Bosnia-
Herzegovina, General Francis Briquemont.
The Swedish Foreign Minister was mostly interested in humanitarian
issues because, as she said, Sweden is one of the chief donors. Sweden
is trying to get through a delivery of prefab houses for refugees in
Srebrenica and Gorazde before the bitter winter sets in. "A part of the
delivery is intended for Serb refugees, so that we are particularly
concerned that Pale authorities still have not granted clearance for the
delivery," stressed Mrs Ugglas.
