ZAGREB, Nov 20 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and
Foreign Minister Mate Granic and Prime Minister of the Government
of the Republic of Bosnia-Herzegovina Haris Silajdzic held a
meeting in Zagreb on Friday evening, as special envoys of
Presidents Tudjman and Izetbegovic for the implementation of
their Joint Declaration of the 14th September 1993.
The delegation of the Croatian Republic of Herceg-Bosnia (HR HB)
was also present at yesterday's meeting between Ministers Granic
and Silajdzic.
The participants of yesterday's meeting in Zagreb agreed that
the top-officials of the headquarters both of the B-H Army and
the Croatian Defence Council (HVO) should hold a meeting as soon
as possible to discuss modalities of cease-fire. It was also
agreed that the commissions on the exchange of prisoners-of-war
should meet in order to resume the discontinued process of
releasing POWs. Besides, the military authorities of both the
sides should reach an agreement on establishing corridors for
humanitarian convoys, in which two sides could guarantee a free
passage to convoys with relief aid, concluded the participants of
yesterday's meeting between Ministers Granic and Silajdzic.
Prime Minister of the B-H Government Haris Silajdzic was
received by President of the Republic of Croatia Franjo Tudjman
in Zagreb last evening.
