ZAGREB, Nov 25 (Hina) - Humanitarian aid delivery to Bosnia-Herzegovina
became heavy because of snow and ice, but the convoys which left
Wednesday for central Bosnia after a four-week interruption
reaches its destinations, UNPROFOR Spokesperson in Zagreb Shannon Boyd
told today's press conference.
The Spokesperson warned on frequent deliberate
attacks launched on UNPROFOR soldiers, especially in the areas of
Mostar, Fojnica, Jajce, Zepce and Gorazde.
The building of the bridge across the river of Neretva, near Bijela,
could not be finished before the end of January and UNPROFOR considers
transporting of load across the river by ferry, said Shannon Boyd.
It is mainly calm in UNPA's in Croatia, except in south-western part
of Sector South where small arms fire was registered, especially in the
areas of Smiljcici, Novigrad, Benkovac and Miranje (north Dalmatia),
said the Spokesperson.
UN Force Commander Gen. Jean Cot is visiting today Sector West where
UNPROFOR established hot lines in order to implement the agreed
ceasefire with less difficulty. Gen. Cot is to leave soon for Sector
North, said Shannon Boyd.
