ZAGREB, Nov 16 (Hina) - Two trucks with food and fuel intended for the
mentally handicapped in Fojnica are expected to arrive in this central
Bosnian town on Tuesday, said UNHCR spokesman Peter Kessler in Zagreb on
Tuesday morning.
Hospitals at Bakovici and Drin are currently caring for 375 adults and 180
children. UNPROFOR personnel are also taking care of the patients.
On Monday UNHCR dispatched two relief trucks and a team of two doctors to
Fojnica.
The spokesman said that there were between 1,000 and 2,000 people left in
town, stressing that during the day they woould go to the surrounding hills
for safety and return to the town for the night. Before the fighting broke
out about a thousand people had found refuge in the nearby village of Bila
Lovic.
