MEETING OF CROATIAN AND GREEK FOREIGN MINISTERS

ZAGREB, Nov 10 (Hina) - Croatian Premier and Foreign Minister Dr. Mate Granic + and his Greek counterpart Karolos Papuljas met last night in Zagreb. "This meeting is the beginning of talks on the situation in the entire + territory of southe especially President Tudjman's peace initiative which will be lead in Zagreb + today and tomo Dr.Granic stated at the end of the talks. Dr.Granic also said that other + initiatives on a s war and the normalization of the relations in the entire territory of what used+ to be Yugos discussed during the conversation. "I appreciate the Greek effort to reach peace as soon as possible and I share + the concern situation in the area if it peace is not reached," Dr.Granic said. Minister Granic also said that President Tudjman's initiative is giving the + first signific that the German-French initiative had practically accepted the basic principle + of the need peace urgently, including the two essential parts: the resolution of the issue + of UNPAs in urgent end of the war in B-H. Greek Foreign Minister said he was looking forward to meeting President + Tudjman and that h that the talks will be successful. Within their tour of the Balkans, the Greek delegation has already visited + Belgrade and th capital of Podgorica, and today they are scheduled to visit Zagreb and + Ljubljana. Talking about the visit to Sarajevo scheduled for yesterday, he said: "We + could not manag there, but we did not get discouraged and we shall try again." According to the information released by Croatian Foreign Ministry the two + ministers did n so called "Balkan Conference".
