ZAGREB, Dec 16 (Hina) - The Croatian Government has banned the
proposed Christmas bonus and salary increase.
All corporate legal persons, bodies and services financed by
the Budget are to respect the ban, the Government Public Relations
Office announced today.
The Government decree spells out that any salary bonuses paid
by private companies will be treated as extra payments earned in
line with job regulations. Taxes on any such salary increases would
be collected.
