ZAGREB, Dec 1 (Hina) - In the last 12 months, prices in Croatia
have dropped by two percent and this trend could continue by the
end of the year, according to the Statistical Bureau.
Exports were above average and the Government expected
prices to remain stable and production to grow unless public
expenditure exceeded this year's budget.
Today's Government session heard that retail prices in
November were down by 0.1 per cent compared to the previous month
while industrial prices were up by 0.6 per cent and living costs
by 0.1 per cent.
The Government today passed a decision to start the bank
rehabilitation process and allocate 240 million kunas to three
banks to meet their liabilities.
