ZAGREB, Dec 15 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister today received
Malaysian Foreign Ministry chief secretary Ahmed Kamil Jaafar.
Granic informed Jaafar of the current situation in Bosnia-
Herzegovina and all aspects of help that Croatia has offered the
Bosnian Republic and the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina. Granic
particularly stressed the events in the Bihac area and the
enclave's catastrophic humanitarian situation.
Croatia regards the implementation of the Washington
agreements as the most important factor in establishing peace and
achieving a long-lasting resolution to the crisis, Granic said,
adding that Croatia would support the prompt implementation of the
accords at all levels.
Commenting on the situation in Croatia, Granic expressed
dissatisfaction with the poor implementation of the March 29 Cease-
Fire Agreement and the recent Economic Agreement with Knin Serbs.
If there was no progress in the next few weeks Croatia would
not be prepared to extend the UNPROFOR mandate, Granic said.
Granic and Jaafar also discussed bilateral relations between
the two countries emphasising mutual interests for further
political and economic advancements.
