ZAGREB, Dec 5 (Hina) - Croatian President Dr. Franjo Tudjman
received today Turkey's acting Foreign Minister, Murat Karayalcin,
and Bosnia-Herzegovina's Foreign Minister, Irfan Ljubijankic,
accompanied by Turkish and Bosnian Ambassadors to Croatia, Yuksel
Soylemez and Kasim Trnka respectively.
A statement from the President's Office said the meeting's
participants expressed satisfaction both with bilateral and
tripartite relations between Croatia, Bosnia and Turkey.
Commenting on the declaration adopted by the Islamic
Countries' contact group for Bosnia at the Geneva session Minister
Karayalcin suggested a proposal on the joint action of the two
contact groups. President Tudjman welcomed the suggestion.
Turkish Minister informed President Tudjman of a recent
Socialist International session which adopted a declaration on the
situation in Bihac. He said he regretted the Conference on Security
and Cooperation in Europe (CSCE) Budapest Summit's failing to
seriously act as regards the Bihac problem.
Minister Karayalcin conveyed to President Tudjman Turkish
President Suleyman Demirel's respects and invitation to visit
Turkey as soon as possible.
President Tudjman expressed gratitude for the invitation
adding that he hoped Turkey would continue with its role in
establishing the Washington Accords.
