ZAGREB, Dec 8, (Hina) - Special Envoy of the UN secretary-general,
Yasushi Akashi, is to meet Contact Group officials at UNPROFOR
headquarters at Zagreb airport this afternoon, UNPROFOR spokesman
Michael Williams said.
The Contact Group representatives are to then travel to
Sarajevo where they're expected to inform the Bosnian Government of
the results of a recent ministerial Contact Group meeting in
Brussels.
After his Zagreb airport visit Akashi is to head off to
Belgrade where he'll meet Serb president Slobodan Milosevic and
Knin Serb leader Borislav Mikelic.
Akashi is to talk to Milosevic about the peace process and
cease fires in Bosnia while the discussion with Mikelic is likely
to centre on the continued blockage of UN and UNHCR convoys to the
Bihac pocket and Croatian Serb involvement in fighting around the
enclave.
