ZAGREB, Dec 6 (Hina) - Bosnian Government's and Bosnian Serb
officials reached today an agreement that UNPROFOR engineers should
have access and supervision to all the gas installations in Bosnia
in the future. The agreement was achieved at a several-hour session
held in the Sarajevo Airport through the UNPROFOR mediation.
UNPROFOR experts should supervise the vents on the main gas
pipeline going from Russia through Serbia to Sarajevo. In this way
the Bosnian capital could be permanently supplied with gas.
The Bosnian Government agreed with Russian partners that
Russia would increase deliveries of gas for 2,5 times, if Bosnian
Serbs allow to open the part of the gas pipeline to Zenica.
The gas supplies have been cut off in Sarajevo for ten days.
The city has received only minimum electricity for the same time.
