SARAJEVO, Dec 6 (Hina) - Bosnia-Herzegovina's Prime Minister Haris
Silajdzic today said one could conclude from the conduct of the UN
Protection Force and some western countries that a new stage of
genocide took place in Bosnia.
As if the international community is willing to tolerate the
massacre in Bihac, Silajdzic said at a Bosnian Government session
in Sarajevo.
The Bosnian Government today called on UNPROFOR to ensure the
delivery of the humanitarian aid to Bihac, Sarajevo and eastern
Bosnian enclaves of Srebrenica and Gorazde, i.e. UN-declared safe
areas, which are on the brink of the humanitarian disaster.
Minister Muharem Cero warned that in the Sarajevo warehouses
there were food supplies merely for five days. The Bihac citizens
received daily only 55 grams of food, and Srebrenica suffered from
starvation.
The Bosnian Government is to request the UN Security Council
to pass a resolution under which the Sarajevo-Pazaric road would be
taken under control of UNPROFOR and the food supplies would
transported to the city of Sarajevo along the Sarajevo Airport
runway.
