ZAGREB, Sep 15, (Hina)- Croatia's UN representative, Mario Nobilo,
yesterday sent a protest letter to UN chief secretary Boutros
Boutros Ghali over the Serbs latest aggression on Croatia.
Nobilo said that on Tuesday night Serb irregulars launched an
artillery attack on Zupanja and fired 28 projectiles at nearby
territory causing severe material damage.
Also, the day before the attack, JNA forces attacked wide
territory in Dubrovnik from positions in Montenegro.
In the protest letter Nobilo reminds the UN chief secretary
and UN Security Council of previous letters in which the Croatian
Government warned that these types of situations were a serious
threat to Croatia's territorial integrity and security.
If someone doesn't stop these attacks, then the peace process
and the stability of the whole region is in doubt, Nobilo
concludes.
