ZAGREB, Sep 15 (Hina) - The Serbian National Party (SNS) believed
that Croatia was "closer than ever to reintegrating the occupied
areas into its constitutional and legal system".
The SNS said it was up to the Croatian President, Franjo
Tudjman, to take the next step.
He should reverse parts of the interior policy, particularly
sections regarding the protection of human rights and freedom, SNS
leader, Milan Dukic, told today's press conference.
Dukic said the President and Croatian authorities should:
ensure full functioning of the legal state; suspend all evictions
executed because of administrative decisions and not based on court
decisions; stop 'national discrimination' and establish a court for
human rights.
The SNS welcomed the Pope's visit to Croatia last weekend and
supported his pleas for peace.
