ZAGREB, Sep 8 (Hina) - The mass teachers' strike, organized by
three teachers' unions, was today continuing in Croatia, a union
strike committee press conference was told.
The unions yesterday sent a letter to the world center of
teacher unions, Education International, after failed negotiations
with the Government. The letter asks for mediation in talks with
the Government.
The unions will also today contact the International Labour
Organization and the Helsinki Human Rights Committee.
