ZAGREB, Sep 6 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Nikica Valentic
received today in Zagreb head of the EU Monitor Mission, ambassador
Paul Joachim von Stuelpnagel, in an inaugural visit.
The meeting focused on problems in the region, the
implementation of the Washington agreements, an extension of
UNPROFOR's mandate and the issue on refugees from Velika Kladusa.
Prime Minister Valentic and his guest brought views on all
issues to the accord.
Both sides expressed concern about a great number of refugees
from western Bosnian stranded near Turanj. It was stressed that the
winter could cause a humanitarian catastrophe if the problem on
refugees from western Bosnia is not urgently solved.
Prime Minister Valentic and his guest agreed that they would
act together in order to solve the problem as soon as possible.
