ZAGREB, Sep 5, (Hina)- The President of Croatia, Dr Franjo Tudjman,
received today a delegation of the Jewish Community in Zagreb led
by Dr Ognjen Kraus, the President's office said.
President Tudjman wished the Jewish community a happy Rosh
Hashana and thanked them for a contribution to the development of
the democratic Croatia.
The President informed the delegation about promoting the
relations between Croatia and Israel, which are to establish
diplomatic relations soon.
Dr Kraus informed President Tudjman about the work of the
Jewish community and thanked him for Croatia's assistance provided
to expelled members of the Jewish community from the former
Yugoslavia.
