SARAJEVO, Sept 1 (Hina) - The Catholic Archbishop of Sarajevo,
Vinko Puljic, confirmed the Pope's arrival in Sarajevo at a press
conference today.
He said the Pope was scheduled to meet with the head of the
Islamic Community in Bosnia-Herzegovina, Mustafa Ceric, as well as
representatives of Orthodox and Jewish communities.
The press conference was told that the Pope would celebrate
Mass at a stadium capable of holding 25,000 people. All measures
were being taken to ensure the Pope's safety.
