SUPETAR, Aug 8 (Hina) - Traffic at the airport on the Croatian
island of Brac has been far more vivid than it was expected since
its opening on 3 May. There have been over 200 flights to the
airport transporting 8,000 passengers since the first plane's
arrival from Zagreb in May.
Most of passengers have flown from Ljubljana, Munich, Linz,
Vienna, Graz and Augsburg.
Even 23 aircraft landed at the Brac airport last record-
breaking weekend. Owing to a great interest of the Italian tourists
to visit this Croatian island a regular air service between Italy
and Brac should be soon opened, according to an official of the
airport, Mr. Igor Grissogono.
