TRIESTE, July 16 (Hina) - The Republic of Croatia gives strategic
priority to the cooperation with the countries-members of the
Central European Initiative, said Croatia's Premier Nikica Valentic
at today's session of premiers of the Central European Initiative's
countries in Trieste.
He said that Croatia regarded that proposals of the five-
power "contact group" for Bosnia-Herzegovina might be the basis for
lasting solutions. "An overall solution, requires that the crises
in Croatia and B-H should be solved at the same time," Premier
Valentic stressed.
He pointed out that in its development Croatia relied on the
cooperation with neighbouring countries, especially with members of
the Central European Initiative. Valentic said that within the
Central European Initiative Croatia was cooperating in various
areas of economy, and added that Croatia would continue
preparations for forming the administrative centre of tourism and
culture in the Croatian town of Rovinj.
He expressed hopes that Croatia might be soon included in
projects on the traffic corridors between the Baltic and the
Adriatic Sea, and the Adriatic and the Black Sea.
