ZAGREB, June 2 (Hina) - Croatian Prime Minister Nikica Valentic and
United States Ambassador Peter Galbraith met in Zagreb on Thursday
for talks on the current situation in Croatia and Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
Valentic informed the US amabassador of the Government stand
on the further implementation of the March 29 cease-fire agreement,
negoations with rebel Serb authorities in Croatia and the
implementation of the Washington agreement on establishing a
Moslem-Croat federation in Bosnia-Herzegovina.
Galbraith conveyed Washington's views on the crisis in former
Yugoslavia and the overall situation in the Balkans. He stressed
that the US government was satisfied with Croatian policy towards
the UN-protected areas, and reiterated support for the Croatian
territorial integrity within its internationally recognized
borders.
