MOSTAR, Apr 2 (Hina) - Herzeg-Bosnian Defence Minister Vlado Soljic
appointed a commission to investigate a shooting incident in which
Bosnian army officer Buric was wounded, said the Herzeg-Bosnian
defence ministry in a statement on Saturday.
The incident occurred on Thursday, when a joint UNPROFOR,
Croatian Defence Council (HVO) and Bosnian army commission was
inspecting the disengagement line in Mostar prior to minesweeping.
An unknown person opened fire from the HVO-controlled territory,
wounding Bosnian army officer Buric, who was immediately rushed to
hospital.
Strongly condemning the incident, the statement expressed the
hope that the incident "would not affect the peace process which we
trust will lead to durable peace."
