OTOCAC, March 5 (Hina) - At the crossing at Sajnarica near the town
of Otocac (100 kilometres south of Karlovac) representatives of the
Croatian Government's commission for the detained and missing
persons and a delegation of the commission of the so-called Krajina
(established by the Serb rebels on the temporary occupied areas of
Croatia) continued their negotiations on the exchange of prisoners.
The negotiations were also attended by representatives of the
European monitors, deployed in the towns of Zadar and Knin.
The head of the Croatian government's commission, Ivica
Grujic, stated that today's talks were useful. The Croatian side
had released all the detained persons, registered by the
International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), until the middle
of January. He added that a new exchange was scheduled for March
19, 1994.
