ZAGREB, March 5 (Hina) - A two-day humanitarian operation to Vitez,
Kruscica and Nova Bila, central Bosnia, was successfully concluded
on Friday, said a statement issued by the International Committee
of the Red Cross.
The ICRC shipped to Nova Bila 6,300 food packages, 5,700 kg of
flour and a truckful of medical supplies for the Franciscan
hospital.
For the first time since Aug 20 1993, a Red Cross convoy
reached Kruscica (near Vitez), where it delivered 1,586 food
packages and over 2,000 kg of flour, said the statement, adding
that another convoy, the first in six months, arrived in Stari
Vitez on the previous day.
The ICRC has delivered 18,000 food packages and 15,200 kg of
flour in Vitez in the past two days, said the statement.
