ZAGREB, Jan 17 (Hina) - The Convention of Croats from central
Bosnia held a meeting on Sunday in Zagreb, accepted the Declaration
and elected Executive Council of the Convention.
The meeting was attended by Mile Akmadzic, Herzeg-Bosnian Minister
for International Relations.
Meeting was held in presence of representatives of Croats from
Sarajevo, Kiseljak, Kresevo, Fojnica, Busovaca, Vitez, Travnik,
Novi Travnik, Bugojno, Gornji Vakuf, Donji Vakuf, Konjic, Prozor,
Tomislavgrad, Livno, Kupres, Jajce, Kotor Varos, Zenica, Kakanj,
Visoko, Vares, Breza, Olovo, Zepce, Zavidovici, Maglaj, Tesanj and
Teslic.
The Declaration said that central Bosnia has to be preserved as
unique historical, geographical, cultural and political region. Any
division of central Bosnia by ethnic or territorial principles is
unacceptable.
Convention of Croats from central Bosnia is appealing for
immediate halt of war caused by Serbian aggression and requesting
for making sure of equality and national constructivnes of Croats
in Bosnia as well as two other nations by parity representation in
government.
Convention of Croats from central Bosnia supported the initiative
for holding a meeting of General Convention of Croats from Bosnia
and Herzegovina. The Convention elected two representatives that
will participate on Geneva peace talks on behalf of Croats from
central Bosnia.
