ZAGREB, Jan 16 (Hina) - The first convention of the Croats from
Central Bosnia commenced in Zagreb on Sunday. Representatives of 29
Central Bosnian municipalities as well as Croatian political
parties participated in the convention, which was also attended by
the guests, representatives of the Croats from the Bosnian Posavina
and the town of Banja Luka (northwestern Bosnia), representatives
of the Embassy of Bosnia-Herzegovina, and many others.
In the first part of the convention the eminent writer, Ivan
Lovrenovic, delivered a speech on the cultural and historical
characteristics of Central Bosnia.
The convention is to adopt a declaration of the Croats from
Central Bosnia in the continuation of its work today.
