GENEVA, Jan 16 (Hina) - Croatian Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign
Minister, Dr. Mate Granic arrived in Geneva on Sunday evening.
Croatian Minister is planning to hold a series of meetings in
Geneva two days before the beginning of a new round of the
Conference on the former Yugoslavia and the arrival of the
President of the Republic of Croatia, Dr. Franjo Tudjman.
Upon his arrival in Geneva Croatian Foreign Minister met his
Turkish counterpart, Hikmet Cetin. He is to hold meetings tomorrow
with the special envoy of the Russian President, Vitalij Curkin,
and of the U.S. President, Charles Radman, the Prime Minister of
Bosnia-Herzegovina, Haris Silajdzic, as well as with
representatives of the European Union.
Representatives of the Organization of the Islamic Countries
(OIC) will discuss the issue of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Geneva on
Monday, and they will hold talks on this issue with the B-H
President and Prime Minister, Alija Izetbegovic and Haris
Silajdzic, who are expected to arrive in Geneva on Sunday evening.
The Serbian delegation is to come into Geneva on Monday.
