ZAGREB, Jan 7 (Hina) - The Embassy of Bosnia-Herzegovina in Zagreb
published today the appeal of medical personnel from Muslim
controlled part of Mostar that was already sent to international
humanitarian organizations on January 4.
The appeal calls all humanitarian organizations to help Mostar
immediately organizing transportation of medical material and
equipment for hospitals in that area in order to prevent
catastrophe and death of many persons for which can not be provided
an adequate medical treatment.
The appeal said that medical staff in the Muslim part of Mostar
takes care on more than 5,000 sick and wounded people and 60
percents of them are children. They are all situated in improvised
hospital and ambulances.
The appeal reminds that aid convoy has came to Nova Bila while
Mostar has left without even a small part of necessary medical aid.
The Mobile Hospital that was presented to Mostar, HVO has stopped
at the enter of the city, said the appeal.
Medical staff from the Muslim part of Mostar invites doctor
Slobodan Lang who led aid convoy for Nova Bila, to came to the city
and see its hospital and bring medical equipment in order to show
that he is real humanist who wish to help to all people imperiled
by war.
