ZAGREB, May 31 (Hina) - Retail prices in Croatia were 0.2 percent
higher in May than in the previous month, with commodity prices
increasing by 0.1 percent and service prices by 0.3 percent, the
Statistical Bureau said today.
Retail prices rose by 2.8 percent compared to May last year.
In the first five months this year they were up 0.6 percent on the
figures of the same period last year.
The cost of living in May showed a 0.5 percent increase
against the previous month. In the first five months this year they
went up by 4.7 percent compared to the same period in 1994.
