BUDAPEST, May 24 (Hina) - A delegation of the Croatian Trade
Ministry. led by an aide to the Minister, Zeljko Kirincic, finished
a two-day official visit to Hungary on Wednesday.
The Croatian delegates attended the opening of the 'Industry
54' international fair in Budapest.
They were also received at the Hungarian ministry of industry
and trade.
The Croatian officials talked with Hungary's undersecretary of
state Lajos Bereny, who had invited them to visit Budapest.
During the talks the officials exchanged information about the
current situation in the two neighbouring countries.
Kirincic apprised the Hungarian representatives of the
progress of the Croatian Government's stabilization programmes and
planned activities for promoting relations between Croatia and
other countries.
Kirincic added that the trade between Croatia and Hungary was
rising continually.
Hungarian officials said their country expected financial aid
from relevant European institutions in the reconstruction of roads
and railway lines toward Croatia.
The Hungarian side also showed interest in the participation
of their firms in the rebuilding of war-damaged Croatian areas.
Besides Kirincic, the Croatian delegation consisted of an
advisor to the Trade Ministry, Ljuba Novosel, and an advisor to the
Foreign Ministry, Mario Martinovic.
