ZAGREB, May 4 (Hina) - The Croatian Parliament House of
Representatives closed today's session with debate on the Labour
Relations Bill.
Deputies would continue the session on Wednesday when they
were expected to take a vote on the Bill.
The debate involved mainly Opposition members who proposed
numerous amendedments, criticizing the text of the Bill. The
Croatian Social Liberal Party presented 100 amendments.
The Opposition claimed that the Bill looked as if it had been
drafted by employers and that workers' protection was below
European standards.
