ZADAR, March 30 (Hina) - Rebel Serb forces have violated the
ceasefire agreement several times this week, the Croatian army
said today.
The Croatian army deputy commander in Split, 1st Lt. Mario
Tomasovic, said that Serbs yesterday transported from Knin to
Zemunik Gornji and Biljani Donji a hundred of recruits and
inserted them into the separation zone to carry out engineering
works.
Serb forces were opening fire on March 25 in the south-
eastern part of UN Sector South, Tomasovic said.
The same night a Serb tank in Mala Vranovaca fired at
Croatian army positions at Stinov Umac near Lake Peruca. Earlier
that day, Serb forces in Baljak opened anti-aircraft and small-
arms fire at Umljanovici. They were also fortifying their
positions in the Ruzici area, according to Tomasovic.
In the past ten days Serbs have done engineering works in
the area of Bilandzica Greda, Raba and Lake Peruca.
Tomasovic stressed that the Croatian army did not undertake
any military activities.
