WASHINGTON, March 30 (Hina) - Bosnian Ambassador to the USA, Sven
Alkalaj and the representative of the World Victimological Society,
Zvonimir Separovic, published an appeal by Bihac Moslems and Croats
today in Washington, calling for help for 200,000 civilians and the
opening of humanitarian routes.
The appeal, signed Monday by Bihac Mayor, Hamdija Kobiljagic,
and leader of the local HDZ (Croatian Democratic Union) branch,
Drago Mazar, said that during last ten months each resident of
Bihac was given 2 kilos of flour, 150 grams of vegetable fat and
400 grams of beans.
The town of Bihac (western Bosnia, on the border between
Bosnia-Herzegovina and Croatia) is besieged by Bosnian Serbs aided
by soldiers of the rebel Muslim secessionist, Fikret Abdic, and
Serbs from Croatian occupied territory.
