COPENHAGEN, March 11 (Hina) - Croatian President Franjo Tudjman
today in Copenhagen met his Albanian counterpart, Sali Berisha,
to discuss the development of bilateral cooperation between the
two countries.
Berisha told reporters after the talks that Albania fully
supported the territorial integrity and sovereignty of Croatia
but was concerned about possible unfavourable developments in the
former Yugoslavia after the termination of the UN Protection
Force mandate.
"We hope a satisfactory solution will be found in the
interest of stability in the wider region," Berisha said.
Tudjman also met representatatives of Croatian trade unions
and employers who were participating in a meeting of non-
governmental organizations on social development.
Diplomats said Tudjman was expected to meet German
Chancellor Helmut Kohl at a reception for heads of delegations
given by Danish Premier Poul Nyrup Rasmussen.
