ZAGREB, March 3 (Hina) - Today's VJESNIK opens with a report on a meeting between the Croatian government, employers and trade unions which resulted in the Basic National Agreement. Vjesnik says that the government will earmark 673 million kunas for road construction. "Autonomy of Courts Guaranteed" is an article on the appointment of Supreme Court judges. Vjesnik quotes Hartmut Koscyk, a member of the German Parliament, as saying that there are no obstacles to Croatia becoming a full member of the Council of Europe. The paper includes a comment piece on the possibility that Croatian Television no longer broadcasts parliamentary sessions live and on possible personnel reshuffles. "Mourning Won't Help Victims" is a commentary on the harassment of non-Serb civilians in Serb-held Bosnia.
