ZAGREB, Feb 24 (Hina) - The Croatian Credit Bank for Reconstruction
(HKBO) and Deutche Ausgleichsbank have begun the second round of
granting loans for Croatian nationals who used to work in Germany,
for their employment and for their firms' integration into the
homeland.
Germany and Croatia have earmarked ten million DEMs each while
4.5 million DEMs was left over from the first round.
The credit grants are granted to Croatian citizens who were
temporarily working in Germany or those who returned home for good
after September 1, 1991, president of HKBO's managing board, Anton
Kovacev told a press conference today.
The greatest amount of credit is 100,000 DEMs (300,000 in
exceptional cases), with a seven per cent interest rate and
deadline to repay from eight to 15 years.
