ZAGREB, Feb 11 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic today
received Banja Luka Bishop, Franjo Komaric.
Bishop Komaric informed Granic of the intolerable position of
Croats in Banja Luka. He said all Croats' rigts were violated and
that they were even being murdered, with six killings recently.
Komaric said the number of Croats in Banja Luka had shrunk
from 80,000 to 20,000.
Croatia would try to end the terror and to protect the rights
of Croats in the Banja Luka Diocese, both with the help of the
international community and through talks on the full normalisation
of Croat-Serb relations, Granic told Komaric.
He informed Komaric of Croatia's efforts to internationalise
the problem of protecing Croats in Banja Luka, particularly in
letters to the UN Security Council and international organisations
for the protection human rights.
