ZAGREB, Feb 8 (Hina) - Croatian Foreign Minister Mate Granic and
his Bosnian counterpart Irfan Ljubijankic met in Zagreb this
afternoon.
"Today's meeting is a continuation of the recent Munich talks,
which were big steps towards establishing the Bosnian Federation,
the implementation of the Washington Accords and the forging of
strong links between Bosnia and Croatia," Granic told reporters
after the meeting.
"We discussed some concrete arrangements, the situation in the
region and the steps we are going to take that would inject life
into the Washington Accords," he said.
Ljubijankic also agreed that the Munich talks had brought a
new slant to Croatian-Bosnian relations - unprecedented since the
signing of the Washington Accords.
"We must start implementing the twelve points agreed upon in
Munich at once," Ljubijankic said.
"Today we discussed some details of the implementation of
these points, and also our bilateral relations and the refugees,"
he said.
"This is a step in a very dynamic process and I hope that we
will soon see the next step - maybe next week and right here in
Zagreb, to the satisfaction and benefit of both states and both
nations," he concluded.
