MOSTAR, Jan 27 (Hina) - Delegations of Bosnian Croats and Moslems,
led by Federation president Kresimir Zubak and his deputy Ejub
Ganic, today began closed-door talks on the general situation in
the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina.
The talks are held under tight security in the European Union
headquarters at Mostar's Ero Hotel.
The meeting also includes an EU Administration delegation led
by EU Mostar administrator, Hans Koschnik and representatives of
the Spanish UN Battalion.
Ganic told reporters before the meeting that they would
attempt to "solve difficult problems."
The Mayor of Croat-held west Mostar, Mijo Brajkovic said: "We
have come to stop the growing tension - if that's possible, and I
hope it is."
