MOSTAR, Jan 28 (Hina) - Pope John Paul II could visit Sarajevo this
year, the Archbishop of the Sarajevo Archdiocese, Cardinal Vinko
Puljic, announced in Mostar on Saturday.
"The Holy Father sincerely wish he could visit Sarajevo,"
Cardinal Puljic told reporters in a short break of the first
session of the Conference of Roman Catholic Bishops of Bosnia-
Herzegovina.
According to Cardinal Puljic, more favourable weather
conditions and longer days were necessary for the Pope's arrival in
Sarajevo, so that his one-day visit to the Bosnian capital might be
successfully organized.
