SARAJEVO, Jan 2 (Hina) - A shoulder-launched missile exploded near
Sarajevo's Holiday Inn hotel around 1 pm today in violation of a
four-month cessation of hostilities agreement signed on Saturday.
UN officials said the missile had been fired from the line of
separation between the Moslem-led Bosnian army and Serb forces,
along the Miljacka river. But UN observers could not determine the
exact spot it had come from.
The explosion caused only minor material damage but no
casualties.
Other parts of Sarajevo were calm today.
