$ GANIC SARAJEVO, Dec 15 (Hina) - On the first anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Agreement, Assistant US State Secretary John Kornblum, President of the Bosnian Presidency Alija Izetbegovic, member of the Presidency and President of the Bosnian Federation Kresimir Zubak, and Deputy President of the Bosnian Federation Ejup Ganic, signed a joint statement in Sarajevo on Sunday. Present at the meeting was also Bosnia-Herzegovina's Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic, Bosnian Croat news agency Habena said on Sunday.
IZETBEGOVIC, $ GANIC SARAJEVO, Dec 15 (Hina) - On the first anniversary of the signing of the Dayton Agreement, Assistant US State Secretary John Kornblum, President of the Bosnian Presidency Alija Izetbegovic, member of the Presidency and President of the Bosnian Federation Kresimir Zubak, and Deputy President of the Bosnian Federation Ejup Ganic, signed a joint statement in Sarajevo on Sunday. Present at the meeting was also Bosnia-Herzegovina's Foreign Minister Jadranko Prlic, Bosnian Croat news agency Habena said on Sunday. #L# The six-item statement said that the names of the prime minister and members of the Bosnian federation government would be suggested to the Federal Parliament for adoption at a session scheduled for December 18. The President of the Bosnian Federation would be nominated at the next session of the Bosnian Federation Parliament. Constitutions of the Neretva and Central Bosnian cantons are to be equal. The Neretva Canton Assembly will be forwarded a constitution to be adopted at its session scheduled for next week. Laws on internal affairs for the Sarajevo, Neretva and Central Bosnian cantons will be forwarded to the cantons' assemblies for adoption next week and other cantons are to adopt the Laws by the end of January 1997. After the Sarajevo, Neretva and Central Bosnian cantons adopt the laws, the International Police Task Force (IPTF) and canton police organs will establish police forces in line with the Bosnian Federation Constitution. All cantonal authorities should be constituted by December 31 so that they may begin to perform their duties. A Federal Parliament session on December 18 will discuss the date for the adoption of a number of law provisions from the sphere of financial politics. By December 31, four federal ministries, Trade Ministry, Transport and Communications Ministry, Industry, Energy Supply and Mining Ministry and Education, Culture and Sports Ministry are to be transferred to Mostar, the statement said.
