SARAJEVO, Nov 19 (Hina) - Bosnian Federation President Kresimir
Zubak on Tuesday relieved Vladimir Soljic of his duties as defence
minister.
The decision was made on the basis of Zubak's constitutional
powers and Soljic's irrevocable resignation, Zubak's office said in
a statement.
Zubak, a member of the three-man Bosnian Presidency, asked
Alija Izetbegovic as the chairman of the Presidency to call a
session of the Presidency as soon as possible.
"There is no justification for delaying the session at the
time when crucial decisions should be taken for the further
implementation of the peace agreement," the statement said.
If Izetbegovic was unable to call or attend a session, he
should inform the other co-presidents so that they could hold a
session in conformity with the Constitution and procedures
regulating the work of the Presidency.
