Participants of the recently established Forum could not agree
whether members of the Council for Telecommunications, who are
responsible for not granting concession to Radio 101, should be
asked to resign and left the problem until another meeting.
They also could not agree on the means of further work of the
Forum, nor whether the Forum should be officially registered or
not.
According to the chairman of the meeting, Mario Mandaric, the
Forum had been established to link different initiatives which had
appeared after the decision of the Council for Telecommunications
to not grant concession to Radio 101 .
Mandaric held that the Forum should continue to exist, the
more so because the problem of Radio 101 had not been resolved as
the radio had only received a temporary permit to broadcast until
15 January.
