PLOCE, Nov 28 (Hina) - The first freight train started from Ploce towards Hadzici, near Sarajevo on Thursday, after five years of pause, which officially opened the Ploce-Mostar-Sarajevo railway for freight trains. The first post-war
train is carrying a part of the 8,000 tons of American weapons and military equipment which recently arrived in the Croatian port of Ploce on the "American Condor" ship. The equipment was donated by the United States government to the Bosnian Federation armed forces for the "Equip and Train" programme.
PLOCE, Nov 28 (Hina) - The first freight train started from Ploce
towards Hadzici, near Sarajevo on Thursday, after five years of
pause, which officially opened the Ploce-Mostar-Sarajevo railway
for freight trains.
The first post-war train is carrying a part of the 8,000 tons
of American weapons and military equipment which recently arrived
in the Croatian port of Ploce on the "American Condor" ship. The
equipment was donated by the United States government to the
Bosnian Federation armed forces for the "Equip and Train"

Under an agreement among the Croatian Railways, Bosnia-
Herzegovina Railways and the private American company MPRI which
supervises the transport of weapons and training of Bosnian
Federation troops, tanks, armoured personnel carriers and the
majority of the rest of the military equipment will be transported
by trains to Hadzici.
The cargo in the train's seven freight cars consists of 10
armoured personnel carriers and one tank.
Ammunition and a small amount of military equipment are to be
transported by trucks and trailor trucks.
All the American military contingent is expected to be
transported within the next ten days.
A convoy of 15 trucks carrying ammunition also started from
Ploce towards a military testing range warehouse near Livno (south-
west Bosnia-Herzegovina) on Thursday.
