SARAJEVO, Nov 22 (Hina) - International police forces and IFOR
discovered a large quantity of disallowed weapons and ammunition
during a routine check at police stations in Kljuc and Laniste in
north-western Bosnia, spokesman Alexander Ivanko told a Sarajevo
news conference on Friday.
The hoard included 11 hand grenades, nine mortars, two manual
rocket launchers, one APC, 35 shells and over a hundred fuses.
All the weaponry had been confiscated and would be destroyed
in accordance with regulations, Ivanko said.
An armed conflict erupted between two Sudanians and two
Bosnian citizens in Sarajevo on Thursday, Ivanko said. According to
local police, the Sudanians' vehicle stopped at a crossroads and
there was an argument with two Bosnians in a nearby vehicle. After
a brief discussion, both parties drew guns and started shooting.
One of the Sudanians was wounded. The police did not view the
incident as politically motivated, Ivanko said.
