TUDJMAN THANKFUL FOR SUPPORT AND WISHES FOR SPEEDY RECOVERY

ZAGREB, Nov 19 (Hina) - The Croatian President's Office in Zagreb and the Croatian Embassy in Washington have received over a thousand telegrams, written messages and telephone calls in which Croatians from around the world, Croatian organizations and associations, individuals and institutions, respectable representatives of foreign countries and friends of Croatia express wishes for President Franjo Tudjman's speedy recovery and return home. They all stressed the historic role of President Tudjman in creating the Croatian state and realizing the centuries-old aspirations of the Croatian people as well as the necessity for the continuation of his dedicated work on the further development of the Croatian state, the President's Office said in a statement on Tuesday.
