"We discussed all details about contracts between Croatia and
the Holy See which will be signed in Zagreb in December. They are
three contracts, in the field of law, on military ordinariate and
education. These contracts will for sure contribute to the further
promotion of already good relations between Croatia and the Holy
See," Matesa told Croatian reporters in Rome.
These will be the first agreements which the Holy See is to
sign with a former socialist country after the fall of the Berlin
Wall.
Matesa traveled to Rome heading a Croatian delegation to a
meeting of heads of states and governments of 133 countries,
members of the UN Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO).
