ZAGREB, Oct 23 (Hina) - Foreign investments in Croatia to date are
estimated at about 1.8 billion DEM, the executive director of the
Croatian Investment Promotion Agency, Vanja Kalogjera, told a news
conference on Wednesday.
There are no exact data on foreign investments, but the
central bank and the State Bureau of Statistics are to compile them
by next spring, Kalogjera announced.
However, the Agency possessed exact data on diaspora
investments. Croatian emigrants have invested DEM 155 to date.
Special UNCTAD advisor Branko Vukmir presented a Compilation
of International Invetsment Documents.
"Croatia is among the world's most open countries to foreign
investment," Vukmir said.
